Why does the answer for sin (470) differ from that of cos (470) ?
Remember that the sin is the side opposite divided by the hypotenuse.
The cos is the side adjacent divided by the hypotenuse.
In the right triangle with a 470 angle the hypotenuse is the same length for the sine and cosine but
the side opposite is longer than the adjacent side and hence the answers differ.
For what angle would the cosine and sine have the same answer? answer
