Remember that when we multiply a number by 0 the answer is 0.

         example  8 x 0 = 0

We know that in division the answer when multiplied by the divisor  must equal the quotient.

As an example:  12 /4  = 3  The answer 3 x 4 = 12 so we proved that our division is correct.

With that in mind, what happens when we divide 8 by 0?  8/0 = ? As in the above example with 12, your answer when multiplied by 0 must = 8. Since all numbers multiplied by 0 = 0, it is impossible under our system of mathematics to divide by 0.

We can not divide by 0.  return
