1. Four consecutive even integers equal 60. What are those integers?
First you must understand the meanings of the words in the problem.
So what is the definition of consecutive and even integers?   answer

x = the first even integer.
x + 2 = the 2nd even integer
x + 4 = the 3 rd even integer
x + 6 = the 4 th even integer

x + x + 2 + x + 4 + x + 6 = 60
4x + 12 = 60
4x = 60 - 12
4x = 48
x = 48 ÷ 4
x = 12
The 4 integers are 12, 14, 16 , 18
Add them together and they equal 60
