sin 45o = 1/√2 csc 45o =√2/1 = √2
cos 45o = 1/√2 sec 45o =√2/1 = √2
tan 45o = 1/1 = 1 cot 45o =1/1 = 1
Mathematicians don't like radicals in denominators so we must rationalize the sin and cos functions. Hence the sin 45o = (√2) /2  and the cos 45o = (√2 )/2
